Thank you for purchasing a StarTech.com PEX4S552 4 Port Dual Proﬁle

PCI-Express UART Serial Card. Turning a PCI Express slot into four

available RS-232 (DB9) serial connections, this innovative card utilizes a

native, single-chip design for optimal performance and reliability.

Compatible with a broad range of operating systems, including Windows®

2000/XP/2003/Vista™ (32-bit and 64-bit), Linux Kernel 2.6.11 and up,

and MAC OS 10.4 and above, the PEX4S552 PCI Express Serial Card

also features an optional low proﬁle bracket that allows the card to be

installed in virtually any computer case regardless of the form factor of

the case.
